Every alert carries the source that issued it, the time it was published and a link to the original. The tracker adds no analysis, no risk score and no assessment.

    Is the tracker free?

    Yes. Registration is free, takes an email address and a password, and asks for no card. A free account opens live alerts for any 4 countries of your choice, in full, each alert naming the official source that issued it and linking to the original, with a daily digest by email. What a free account opens and what it does not is set out at https://officialglobalalerts.sicurogroup.com/free. Customers of CHARIS or SicuroResponse carry up to 10 countries with that product, following the tier held.

    Which official sources does the tracker read?

    The tracker monitors 600+ official sources and republishes what they say with the issuing source named and the time it went out. Among them: the WMO Alert Hub, GDACS, US embassy security alerts, the US State Department, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Global Affairs Canada, Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EASA, the NOAA National Hurricane Center, the USGS earthquake notification service and WHO Disease Outbreak News, alongside host-government ministries, police and civil defence agencies country by country. Every feed is named on the country page it serves, and the full list with its freshness is published at https://officialglobalalerts.sicurogroup.com/coverage.

    How are the sources tiered?

    Feeds are tiered. Tier 1 is host governments and diplomatic missions: defence, interior and foreign ministries, civil aviation and meteorological authorities. Tier 2 is state news agencies and state-affiliated outlets, labelled as state media. Tier 3 is a named wire list and nothing else: AP, Reuters, AFP, Al Jazeera and BBC, capped at MONITOR urgency. No other commercial outlet is carried as a source, in any tier.

    What countries are covered?

    Official sources monitored in 197 countries and zones. 600+ official sources in all, each one tiered 1, 2, or 3.     How often is the tracker updated?

    The tracker scans its source network continuously. A live clock on the dashboard shows the time of the last scan and the countdown to the next one.

    Does no alert mean a country is safe?

    No. Silence on a country page is a record of what the monitored sources published. It is not a safety assessment, and it does not mean nothing happened.

    Who is it for?

    Anyone who needs to know what official sources have actually said, and when. Corporate security teams, travel risk managers, security operations centres, government analysts, NGO security advisors, crisis response teams, aviation operations and maritime security managers.

    Does the tracker use AI to generate alerts?

    Yes, inside hard limits. AI searches the monitored sources, pulls what it finds into a fixed structure, translates non-English content, and assigns each item to a country. It is not allowed to form a view: it does not assess what an event means, predict what comes next, score a country, or write an opinion. Urgency is graded against written criteria and then capped by rules the model cannot override, which is why a wire report can never trigger an IMMEDIATE alert. No person reviews an item before it reaches you, so classification is machine-assigned and not warranted. Every item links to the original, and the original governs.

    What are the urgency levels?

    Every alert is classified as IMMEDIATE (active, high-impact events requiring immediate awareness or action), MONITOR (developing situations warranting continued monitoring), or BACKGROUND (standing information with no immediate action required).
